Old Trinity Church

Old Trinity Church is a historic church and cemetery located near Church Creek, Maryland. The Episcopal church was founded here by English settlers in 1692, and is still active today. The cemetery is kept by historic standards, and is a a beautiful and peaceful place to walk.

Oxford

We recently made a quick day trip to Oxford, Maryland to take a walk and some photos. Oxford is one of the oldest towns on the eastern shore, as it was a port and an important place for trade.

Frazier's Chapel Cemetery

Frazier's Chapel was originally built in 1765 in Preston, MD and includes an historic cemetery located behind the current Bethesda United Methodist Church, which was built in 1875. There are many historic markers here and almost all of them are white with lovely carvings.

Linchester Mill

Linchester Mill is a historic grist mill located at Preston in Caroline County, Maryland, United States. It was built about 1840 and is a 2 ¹⁄₂-story frame building sided in red-painted weatherboard and roofed with raised-seam metal.

Chesapeake Bay Bridge

I uploaded this video after I saw a news article about people being afraid to drive across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge in Maryland. I think it can be slightly nerve wracking, especially if there's two way traffic, it's really not that bad.

Vintage Photos

These are some vintage photos of the area from my Grandmother's collection. She was born in 1920, and lived in Talbot County, MD her entire life. Many of these include my great-grandfather on my father's side, who was in the fire department back in the 1930's.
